Today we walked through the town. There was a race so we didn't stay in
the old square long. We went to the cemetery where Gabi's grandfather
is buried. It was very interesting to see the differences. They are
all cremated and the family plots are like vaults for the urns. Some
people have glass lockers if they can't afford a full memorial plot.
They are so brightly decorated that the cemetery looks like a garden.
The Jewish portion of the cemetery was vandalized so they now lock it
and we had to be a little creative to get in to see the memorial for
Gabi's great grandmother. We spent the afternoon with Gabi's grandmother and family.
